How to Create a Period Name Library

To make setting up Live Activities faster, you can save and reuse Period names. This way, you don't have to retype them every time you create a new activity.

Create the Activity

• From the Activity tab, click +Activity to start a new Live Activity. (This can be a Bluetooth or an Activity Shell type.

  

• Click +Period to create your first Live Period.
  
  

Add a Name to the Library

• Click on the Period you want to rename. This will open the Period Info Panel.
• Start typing to rename the Period. A message will appear: "Add '[Your Period Name]' to period library (optional)".
• Click on this message to save the name to your Period Library.
  
  

Reuse or Manage Names

• The next time you create and rename a new Period, a list of your saved names will appear.
• To use a saved name: Click on it in the list.
• To delete a saved name: Click the X next to the name in the list.
