There are a few reasons your X7 device might not be found when trying to upload an activity using the Athlete App. In order for the app to find the device using Bluetooth the following must be true:
Troubleshooting Steps
- Confirm the device is turned on and charged (battery LED is not red).
- Confirm Bluetooth is turned on on your phone.
- Confirm blue Bluetooth LED is turned on and blinking on the X7 device.
If the LED is not turned on, your device does not have Bluetooth enabled and your coach will need to enable it before you can use it with the app. - If all of the following are working, please confirm with your coach that they encrypted your device with the main OpenField account before giving the device to you. This is for security reasons and allows you to train around other teams without your data being sent to the wrong place. If the device has not been encrypted it will not show up in the app. To fix this it must be plugged into OpenField by your coach.
