Configuring X7 Devices for Use with the Athlete App (Team Staff)

In order for an athlete to connect their X7 device to the Athlete App those devices must have the correct configurations.

What is a Device Mapping?

The Device Mapping is the assignment of a particular Device ID to a desired Athlete. This allows for the correct activity data to associate to the correct Athlete.

To Assign/Map a Device to an Athlete

1. Turn on your dock and insert your Vector devices.
2. In the Catapult Vector App select the Device page in the bottom right corner.
   
3. Find the device you wish to assign to an Athlete by matching the device ID (found on the back of your Vector device) to the ID in the Device column.
4. Select the Map button next to the device ID.
5. Select the Athlete you wish to map the device to.
6. Once successful you will see a notification at the bottom of the page and then automatically be directed back to the Device page in the Catapult Vector App.
   

To Reassign/Remap a Mapped Device to another Athlete

1. Turn on your dock and insert your Vector devices.
2. In the Catapult Vector App select the Device page in the bottom right corner.
   
3. Find the device you wish to remap to a different Athlete by matching the device ID (found on the back of your Vector device) to the ID in the Device column.
4. Select the device and you will be taken to the Device Detail page.
5. Select the Remap button on the right hand side of the first row.
6. Select the Athlete you wish to remap the device to.
7. Once successful you will see a notification at the bottom of the page and then automatically be directed back to the Device Detail page in the Catapult Vector App.
