If your team has purchased the Upload feature as an add-on to the app, follow the steps below to upload an activity remotely.
Upload Activities Remotely
- Make sure Bluetooth is turned on for your phone.
- Ensure your X7 device is turned on and the blue Bluetooth symbol is blinking.
- Open the Athlete app.
- Go to the Device tab.
- If you haven't already mapped your device to the app click on the Map Device button and follow the instructions.
Once a device is mapped, go back to the Devices tab and click on Scan Device.
This action will prompt a warning so if you have accidentally clicked on this while you are still recording click Cancel, otherwise choose Scan Device.
- The Bluetooth LED on your device should become solid blue and a list of activities on your X7 that haven't been uploaded already should be displayed.
- Pick the one you want to upload and click Upload.
- Pay close attention to the date, start time and duration of the activity so you upload the correct one.
Keep the phone close to the X7 device until the upload is complete. When it's complete you will see a green notification saying it was uploaded successfully and to turn off your device.
Be patient during this process as the activity data can be large and the upload process can take some time.
