Multi WiFi feature allows you to configure multiple WiFi networks on your Vector Core Dock, removing the need for WiFi configuration when moving between known locations.
Key benefits include:
- Storage for up to 10 networks
- Automatic connection of the Dock to the best available network on start up
- Ability to manually switch between networks using the WiFi management screen, for example switching from Hotspot to Office WiFi
- Ability to manage and delete networks from Vector Dock
How to access WiFi management?
- Log into the Catapult Vector app and select the Hardware tab on the left of the screen (or bottom on smaller screens).
- Go to the Docks section and select the Dock you have registered.
- Select WiFi option - this action will connect your app to the Dock via Bluetooth.
- WiFi management will present a loading state:
- Once loaded, the following details will be displayed:
- The currently connected network name
- The list of 'known' or 'saved' networks from the Dock, shown as 'My Networks'
- The list of networks from a Dock scan, shown as 'Other Networks'
How to connect to a different network in My Networks?
My Networks indicates networks that are saved to the Dock and are in range.
Press a network name from the My Networks list to connect the Dock to that network, replacing the currently connected network.
How to connect to a different network in Other Networks?
Other Networks are networks the Dock has returned in a scan and are not saved to the Dock currently.
Press one of these to open the password entry screen and connect to the network. Once the Dock connects to this network, it will appear in My Networks during the next scan.
How to delete saved networks I no longer need?
Press Edit in My Networks to view the list of saved networks on the Dock and delete any that are no longer needed.
