Archive Athletes

What is Archive Athletes?

The Archive athletes is the primary tool for managing athletes who are no longer on your team. Since athletes cannot be permanently deleted, archiving is the correct way to remove them from your active roster.

This action hides the athlete from view, which declutters your roster. All of the athlete's historical data is safely preserved and can be accessed at any time.

How to Archive an Athlete

You can archive a single athlete or multiple athletes at once.

1. Navigate to the Settings.
2. Choose one of the following methods:
   • For a single athlete: Hover over the athlete's name, click the more options (...) button, and select Archive.
   • For multiple athletes: Use the checkbox next to each athlete's name. In the action bar that appears at the top, click Archive.

How to View and Unarchive an Athlete?

1. When you need to view historical data or bring an athlete back to an active roster, you can easily unarchive them.
2. From the Athletes page, click the Archived tab or filter to view all of your archived athletes.
3. Choose one of the following methods:
   1. For a single athlete: Hover over the athlete's name, click the more options (...) button, and select Unarchive.
   2. For multiple athletes: Use the checkbox to select the athletes you want to restore, then click Unarchive from the action bar.
4. A window will appear. For each athlete, you must complete two fields:
   1. Select the Team you want to move them to.
   2. Enter/check the Jersey ID.
5. Click Confirm to finish the process. The athlete will now appear on the active roster.
