Vector Core supports multi-dock functionality* enabling the users to utilise a maximum of 3 Docks per Vector Core account and 30 wearable devices during live activity tracking, and up to 72 wearable devices in post-activity workflows.
*Requires Catapult Vector version 1.2.9 or above.
The docks can easily be added when you first log into the Catapult Vector App or at any point after the initial setup.
To Set Up Additional Vector Dock(s)
- Log into the Catapult Vector App ensuring your device has Bluetooth enabled.
- Select the Device page in the bottom right corner.
- Go to the Docks tab and hit +Dock button at the bottom right.
- Plug your dock into the power supply and turn on the dock.
- Wait for all LED's to show a solid state and select Next at the bottom of the Vector App screen.
- Select the dock you want to set up once the ID appears after scanning, and hit Next at the bottom of the screen.
Note: your dock ID is the last 5 digits printed on the QR label found on the front of the Dock. - Select the WiFi you wish to connect the dock to and enter the WiFi password, then hit Connect.
Important Notes:- Only ASCII characters are supported in the passwords when setting up WiFi.
- Vector Core does not directly support Captive Portal networks (typically used by business centres and public venues that offer free WiFi hotspots). However, in these cases you can either:
- add your Dock's MAC address to an allowlist (for more details see How Do I Connect to a Captive Portal Network?), or
- log in to a non-captive portal network, or
- use a mobile hotspot
- Once connected to WiFi the dock will test the connection to the internet and connect to the OpenField Cloud.
- Once the dock has successfully connected to the OpenField Cloud it will notify you that it is ready to use.
- When done, hit Finish Setup.
- Repeat steps 3-10 if you wish to register an additional dock.
New dock(s) registered to your user account will display in the Docks page, alongside the existing dock.
Docks page is designed to:
- Provide a quick status overview of all your Docks
- Allows you to discover more details about each Dock individually as well as manage the WiFi connections
