Vector Core only has two parameters that are available both live and post-activity. These are:
- Accelerations = The sum of Band 6-8 efforts
- Decelerations = The sum of Band 1-3 efforts
Walkthrough
Updating the Acceleration Band Threshold
- Log into the OpenField Cloud and select the Settings page.
- Click the Bands tab from the Settings menu.
- In the Filter Athletes search bar select athletes by typing in either a Position, Team or an Athlete name.
- Select Gen2Acceleration in Global Bands.
In order to increase/decrease the threshold for the rate of acceleration:
-
- If updating to any value less than 3 m/s/s - simply update the acceleration Band 5
- If updating to a value between 3 and 4 m/s/s - update acceleration Band 5 and Band 6
- If updating to any value greater than 4 m/s/s - update acceleration Band 5, Band 6 and Band 7
Ensure there are no bands highlighted in red before hitting Apply To Selected Athletes. If a band is highlighted as red this means one of the bands is set lower than the previous band and will need to be updated.
Updating the Deceleration Band Threshold
- In OpenField Cloud select the Settings page.
- Click the Bands tab from the Settings menu.
- In the Filter Athletes search bar select athletes by typing in either a Position, Team or an Athlete name.
- Select Gen2Acceleration in Global Bands.
Note: Decelerations are shown as negative acceleration so if for example you want to set a deceleration of 1 m/s/s you would need to enter a value of -1.
In order to increase/decrease the threshold for the rate of deceleration:
-
- If updating to any value less than 3 m/s/s - simply update the acceleration Band 4
- If updating to a value between 3 and 4 m/s/s - update acceleration Band 4 and Band 3
- If updating to any value greater than 4 m/s/s - update acceleration Band 4, Band 3 and Band 2
Ensure there are no bands highlighted in red before hitting Apply To Selected Athletes. If a band is highlighted as red this means one of the bands is set lower than the previous band and will need to be updated.
