Once you have set up your Vector Dock(s) and mapped devices to Athletes you can run a Live Activity in the Catapult Vector app.
To Run a Live Activity
- Turn on devices and open Catapult Vector app, making sure that Bluetooth is enabled.
- Go to the Activity tab and click on +Activity button at the top right.
- If your devices are turned on and in range they will appear underneath the day code with # of devices found. If there are some missing from that count click Scan again and wait for a few seconds.
Note: Devices will not be found if they are in the dock, please remove them from the dock before starting an activity.
- The Activity Name populates automatically to Activity 1, but can be edited if preferred.
- Select a Day Code from the dropdown, then press Start activity.
- Activity will start automatically.
Activity Management
- When you are ready to create a period, press +Period at the top right. The new period will appear in the list as Period 1.
- To add Athletes to that Period, do one of the following:
- Click on the +Athletes icon (ADD ICON) and then select relevant Athletes to add.
- Click on the period itself and then the +Athletes button and select relevant Athletes. Click Add to add them to Period.
- Click on the Period in either the List view or Timeline view to edit the name, start and end times via the Pencil icon to the right of the Period name.
- If you need to add/remove Athletes from a Period, go to the Period panel where you will see three groups, In Play, Not in Play and Unavailable:
- In Play: Athletes you've added to the period.
- Not in Play: The remaining Athletes that aren't in another period at that time and have devices connected.

Unavailable:
- Athlete's device is either not turned on or not in range of the mobile device.
- Athletes are already in a currently running live period. An athlete can't be in more than one period at a time.
View Live Data
- Once you have created relevant Periods and added the right Athletes, navigate to the Reporting tab (the bar graph icon in the top left of the screen).
- Here, you'll see a data table showing all periods and the athletes within them.

To Stop an Activity
- To end the activity, press Stop. This will automatically end all Live periods.
- If you need to Resume the activity for any reason, press Resume which will restart the Activity and include the time paused. It will not restart the live periods, you must do this manually.

- If the Activity is complete, click End where you will be prompted to either Discard or Save it.
- The Save will save all Activity metadata including Activity name and times, and any Periods created with Athletes associated.
- Once you've uploaded raw files via the Dock the saved Periods will be automatically populated with the data.
