Issue
In the event your Vector Dock fails to connect to the internet you will see "Your Dock failed to connect to the internet" error message:
Resolution
In the event this does occur:
- Ensure your chosen network connection has direct access to the internet.
- Try to access the internet using this network with another device such as your phone or iPad to check internet access.
- If the issue persists, please contact the network administrator for assistance.
Important: Please note we do not directly support networks that have a captive portal, i.e. networks that require a username and password to enable internet access, as commonly found in public places such as cafés, hotels, airports and university campuses.
To use these networks you may need to provide your network administrator with your Dock’s MAC address to add to an allowlist. For more details see How Do I Connect to a Captive Portal Network?
